How to reduce bass guitar audio in a recording?

I’ve got a one-track recording of my band from a live show, and the bass guitar is so loud it distracts from everything else, pretty heavily. Is There A Way I Could reduce the sound (or erase it completely) of the bass guitar in an audio audio editing program? Thanks! (:
