Ringtones – What are the Differences Between Mp3, Mono and Poly?

3. Monophonic is the simplest of ringtone technology that uses a MIDI format. This one note wonder changed ringtones and no more would you hear simple chirps and chimes, but rather, you could play a popular song. A single note playing a song resembles a monophonic ringtone sound. You can recognize your favorite song, but it sounds a little off, because there is not that much control with a single tone format.

Samples for the EXS24 in Logic Pro?
Hey there all, I’m trying a nu-metal/industrial direction in my music making, but the nearest guitarist to me is a prog rocker and despises modern methods. Sooo….I want to find good sample resources for EXS24 along the musical lines of the guitar sounds found in (for example): Cybersank (Killing Jokes ‘Pandemonium’ album and Clawfinger), Linkin Park and Charlie Clousers choice efforts . Any sites out there sell good samples (by CD or download) for the EXS24 soft sampler along those lines (guitars and maybe good solid drum samples). Thanks for reading this far, I refuse to pay a touchy prog rocker to help me if there are decent samples out there :n)
